Honda jumped on the scooter-wagon in the early 1950's, but encountered more than a few roadblocks, so they stopped production in the early sixties; however, the market changed in the early 1980's, so they revved up production again. In 1983, they launched the Aero Honda Scooter. It was a huge success.
